The holidays are full of bad eating and drinking habits. It is the one time of the year where we all let ourselves go. From indulgent festive lunches that carry on to late night drinking sessions which inflate us out of shape while numbing our sense of caring about it. Unfortunately for us here in Australia, we do Christmas and New Years during the summer, the time where we want to be looking our best. (You might have even made the mistake of buying a new pair of bathers before the binging began like me). So does that mean we have to celebrate more mildly? Well its an option. But instead of being ‘that boring friend’ who won’t join in on the fun, why not look at a better strategy that helps you lose weight while continuing the party.
